WHO: Many prominent Muslim scholars and Imams from the Twin Cities mosques will be present to clarify Islam’s stance on suicide bombings. Members of the Somali Community, including youth and students, will also be there to show their solidarity and support to their brothers and sisters in Somalia struggling daily to go school and gain educational opportunities in the midst of horror and violence gripping the country.
WHAT: Twin Cities community gathering to condemn the horrific suicide bombings in Mogadishu, Somalia on October 4, 2011. More than 100 people, mostly students seeking scholarships abroad, were killed in the bombings.
